Engage customers everywhere, or go nowhere
One of the biggest mistakes any business owner can make is thinking that they are singularly capable of everything; accounting, management, finance, marketing etc.
We see all too commonly, small to medium business owners who think they know marketing. Reality check: just because you own your own business, this doesn’t make you a marketing expert. Its time to take your business to the next level by acting now and investing in both marketing and a comprehensive strategy to strategically and tactically help achieve your business goals in both the short and long term.
It’s time to focus your energy where your own expertise truly lies and leave your marketing to the professionals.
Five reasons why you should outsource your marketing:
- Outsourcing is a cheaper solution: It’s true, outsourcing your marketing needs to a full in-house department is a cheaper solution to hiring a marketing manager or team internally.
- Marketing provides the forum for sales to occur: Let your marketing do the talking.
- Your focusing too much on tasks and not on strategy: Throwing a few marketing efforts such as a brochure and an ad together here and there is not going to get you results. In fact, this is bad marketing. You need a thought out and well devised strategy plan to guide your efforts and market your business the right way.
- Scalability: Having a team of outsourced marketing professionals at your disposal, allows your business to handle an increase in marketing initiatives.
- You can’t keep up: Keeping up with the changes in marketing these days is like trying to keep up with your favourite celebrity’s life, it’s hard right?! The constant introduction of new technologies, digital platforms and marketing trends is advancing the way marketing is conducted. If you don’t keep up, you’ll only fall behind your competition.

20 Feb 2017I couldn't agree more with your statement "no customers or clients equals no business". Many business nowadays only concerned on the product or service they are selling than the customers or clients they are serving. Many business just focus on selling their product or service for the sake of making profit without trying to build a long term engagement with their customers or clients.
ReplyI believe that conducting a proper market research is the most important part in doing business, you can't just sell product or service without knowing what your customers actually need, then you have to make sure they get the message you are trying to tell them, and here comes the need for a company like yours.
As Sam Walton the founder of Wal-Mart said, "There is only one boss: the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company, from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else." I keep thinking how true that is, especially nowadays it is so easy for customers or clients to switch to another vendors, therefore maintaining a long term relationship with them is so important. It’s your loyal customers that become particularly important , as they can help keep you in business!

14 Feb 2017I agree that outsourcing marketing is often the most effective solution for businesses of all sizes and life stages (although as a digital marketer myself, I'm probably a little biased!). As well as the reasons you've listed, you're also receiving the experience and knowledge of a whole team of professionals who live and breathe marketing and have the skills to efficiently plan, execute and analyse all campaigns, instead of relying on one or two in-house marketers. While some companies say they find it hard to justify employing an outside company for their marketing, in reality the benefits and the monetary gain from an agency's expertise will benefit them tenfold in nearly every case. In saying that, not all agencies are equal so it's critical to research which one is most suited to your business objectives before signing any contracts.
