Wow! How time has flown. This incredible thing happened to me on Friday and today I found out why Marketing Eye Sydney has finally found its soul and place as a high energy, high performing culture amongst an international marketing firm that breeds marketing professionals.

We have the most amazing marketing internship program, and the biggest benefit for us is the privilege to see people grow in confidence and capabilities. The fact that after an internship they should be able to go out into the world and add value to any entry-based marketing position, is something that we are extremely proud of.

Today I met with a remarkable, young woman who has the world at her feet. She is intelligent, well-spoken and might I add, well-presented... not that that means too much, but what I am alluding to is that she has the full package.

It doesn't take long to realise that some marketing professionals are more competent and successful than others because they inherently have skills that other's don't. You can get by as a marketer with sound writing skills, a firm understanding of marketing with continuous training and development. Most employers would be happy with this, and I have to say that I find employees that have this background to be more than ok. However, if you truly want to be successful, and out-shine the rest of the pack, you need this skill:
